I am considering e-junkie for use in a project and am conducting some tests with paypal. It seems that purchases through e-junkie and paypals website payment standards requires that you create a paypal account when purchasing. Is this accurate? I have checked my sandbox account settings and it set allow paypal users to be optional but I also read that that works only when using paypals add button code. Maybe e-junkie does not replicate that code? I'm using the same sandbox account with a cms called Expression Engine that has a bare bones ecommerce module that works with paypal. The links that system generates using the same sandbox account takes me to a page that says "Sign up for a PayPal account and continue checkout." that when clicked requires me to create a paypal account. I don't see any option to purchase without being forced to create a paypal account. # POSTED ON: October 23, 2007 @ 10:28 GMT -7 |

That is completely up to PayPal. Most of the users will get an option to pay directly with credit card. E-junkie does not work with SandBox. Also, show the credit card option is completely up to paypal and they show it most of the times but factors like buyer's ip address etc. might affect that. # POSTED ON: October 23, 2007 @ 10:29 GMT -7 |
