One thing I noticed was that when i entered the discount codes on the 'more options page' (I am using add to cart button, and have about 50 products?) the codes were never saved? Do I need to specify a date for them to end, cause I don't need that. Oh, and whats the deal with the the URL generated codes?

Codes will not be saved will only if the amount entered with the code is more than the product price or if the code,discount pair is not entered correct. Like if rather than entering

code1,1.00

you entered,

1.00,code1

or if you missed the comma (,)

Date is not for discount codes, it's for the product expiration, say if you want the product to be unavailable after a set date and time (like an event ticket).

URL generated codes are not related to discount. Please see help page for this.
