i was wondering if i do an ebay auction and sell a digital item paid/delivered though e-junkie, can i have that payment sent directly to my own paypal account id? or will it go to your own and then it transferred to my paypal account within 7 days.

E-junkie is only a technology provider. Buyer always pays you whether you are selling on your website or eBay.

how is it possible for e-junkie to sell products out of your paypal account without e-junkie having your paypal password?

Essentially, we only hand-off the amount of a transaction total and some other buyer-provided info to PayPal and say, "Here, process a transaction for this amount going to our merchant's PayPal email of xxxx@xxxx.com". The buyer only logs into their own PayPal account to complete the transaction; there is no need to know the Merchant's PayPal password -- pretty much the same process as if someone used PayPal to send that Merchant some funds directly. Once PayPal confirms to us that the buyer's payment was good, we then send the buyer a post-checkout thank-you email which would also contain a unique link to download any digital products.

However, be aware that eBay has severely restricted auctions of digital-download products in recent weeks (see eBay for details), so you may wish to consider other methods for marketing your virtual goods.

ok thanks tyson. i guess i will really have to try it out for it make absolute sense to me. i was confused cause i thought IPNs had to be carefully set up with a product you create in your paypal account(product ID). if it's all this simple than this will be a great solution for me cause some of the other IPN systems can be really confusing to manage.

The IPN URL just tells PayPal how to notify us that the buyer's payment was good, so we can mark that transaction as complete in your E-junkie log and send the buyer their thank-you/download-link email. :^) See our PayPal FAQ page here:
