I just signed up for e-junkie with google cart. I placed a buy it now button on my web site. When I press the button I get the following message
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
<error xmlns="http://checkout.google.com/schema/2"
serial-number="7553ed68-670a-44b8-ae0a-d2baebc54718">
<error-message>Internal error in server</error-message>
</error>

Please help asap!

Please make sure you have entered correct Google Checkout details in Admin Profile. If the error persists, please contact Google Checkout support.

I added the key id number as directed, but google checkout still does not work. I get the same error message mentioned above.

It means that you have not entered merchant ID or Key or both correctly.

I had the same problem as you had when I didn't have my Google merchant ID and Key in mine right, but now I've got that done and it does work great. A friend of mine purchased something from me and we were both amazed at how smooth this shopping cart along with Google checkout is. It's wonderful!!! I'm hooked on this cart now!! :)

Oh one thing I had a CAPITAL "I" inside my ID "numbers and letters" or it may have been my "Key" but it had looked like a small "L" but I ran different types of fonts over it in PSP and one font showed it as a CAPITAL "I" not a small letter L so then I got my code set up correctly.

kayekaye, thanks for actually bringing up an important issue ..

you don't have to manually type in the code. you can use right click contect menu and user copy-paste from it.
