Right now my site uses the paypal shopping cart. I have a case where I want to send out a discount to my users, it's one time use, and it's only for one product. Can I make it so I can send them email with a URL that will add the product to an e-junkie cart, apply the discount (I saw on another thread where you can append the discount code to the URL. that's what made me think of it) and them show them the cart? I could also make a special webpage where they can go for the purchase, basically a "buy now" link; but it would be nice to have the link do it automatically. All my other items would remain as a paypal cart until I got around to changing them over. Will this work? Thanks! -Nancy # POSTED ON: November 30, 2007 @ 14:56 GMT -7 |

The discount codes which can be created per items can't be one time use. "One time use" feature for discount code only works with cart discount codes. If you are using our BUY NOW buttons and want to make the promotion code for that item a part of the URL, please append &on0=Promotion&os0=XXXX where XXX will be the code you have created for that product. # POSTED ON: December 1, 2007 @ 03:26 GMT -7 |

I would make the discount code a cart discount code so it could only be a one time use. Can that be appended to the URL? # POSTED ON: December 1, 2007 @ 10:00 GMT -7 |

Yes append &discount_code=XXX (where XXX is your discount code) to the URL in the ADD TO CART button. # POSTED ON: December 1, 2007 @ 13:45 GMT -7 |
