Code generator. Validate using PHP

Hi!



I am looking for a PHP based activation code generator and validator.



The idea being that upon purchase the customer gets an activation code from e-junkie. The customer later enters that code on my web site where it is validated to enable the purchased features/content.



Can you recommend any particular solution or implementation?
