Quantity option on product page

I managed to get the quantity selection to appear under the size selection in my page, but because of the way i colored the table that everything its in you can see the words for quantity but cant see the box so people wont know where to click to enter the quantity. Can i give that box a background color so it is visible?

To let buyers pick an order quantity, normally you would just enable "Let buyer edit quantity" in the product's settings, so they can enter a quantity in their cart.
