Shipping calc not working for Canada

I have set up 2 shipping rules, one for the United States and the other for Canada.



We selected just Canada and the U.S. for shipping. Then I set up each rule.



The U.S. shipping is added correctly but Canada shows no shipping.



Is there something more I need to do to add Canada's shipping charge?

I checked your shipping settings within your account and they look correct. Can you give us a link to a page with your cart buttons so that we can test them ourselves?

I have Canada set up for a shipping destination from the USA and the shipping calculator is calculating $0.00....... and allowing Canadian purchases. To me, everything looks to be set up correctly....... can someone check this out and tell me what is wrong on my end?

Never mind......... I found your information in other posts indicating UPS shipping calculators are incompatible with e Junkie.

Sorry about that, unfortunately UPS bases their rates on information that our cart doesn't collect, like packaging dimension. UPS does have a basic API to guess rates by zip code within the continental US that we are able to access, but it isn't very accurate and we can't improve on that. When using UPS as a carrier it is a better idea to define your shipping costs manually based on what you know your average orders will cost to ship through their service.

Different question......... do you have any aspirations for adding FedEx to the shipping calculator. We use the UPS ship rates in our cart but actually ship via FedEx. The costs are nearly to the penny but occasionally we get a customer complaint.



Just asking. Not a deal breaker for us.

We're not planning on integrating any further shipping services at this point because we can only use the destination country and post code to determine costs, and most carriers base their quotes on more detailed information than that. We don't actually know where the buyer's shipping location is until the order has run through checkout, and by then it's too late for further adjustments.
