Please fix the login buttons so people with auto password fillers like Firefox/Roboform/etc can log in without having to remember and type it in.

That would be good. In the past month, I have been unable to get it to keep me logged on even though the log in automatically button is checked when I fill in the username and password.

Our Login and Admin screens are actually Flash applications, so our logins cannot work with password autofill, as that can only remember data you've entered in HTML forms and not Flash forms.

If our setting to "Keep me logged in for future visits" isn't working for you, that may be a cookie issue. Try deleting your browser cookies, or at least any cookies identified with e-junkie.com, close and restart your browser, and then try logging in again with that setting enabled, see if it works then.

BTW, it seems someone doesn't like all this talk of deleting cookies:

I have deleted the cookies and still have a problem. I am using Flock, but I didn't think that was a problem, as it used to work before.

Flock is based on Firefox, so it should work the same, unless Flock dev. has done something strange with Firefox's standard cookie handling?

Yeah E-Junkie is a great service but is it too much to ask to fix this tiny feature? :)

Although it does remember my username and password at times, E-Junkie is the ONLY site I have in my list of dozens of bookmarks that keeps erasing my login and password on a consistent basis (I'm using Firefox). Also, CTRL-V doesn't seem to work consistently so copy-pasting my password is frustrating also.

Using Flash for a login box is cool and all, but come on E-Junkie, "coolness" or "customer usability?" What's the better business choice? Why does the customer have to jump through hoops, delete cookies all the time, etc, when every other site has it right?

I'm typing this post after about the hundreth time of typing in my username and password. It's aggravating. E-Junkie, are you really listening or are you just going to file this post away with a stock response?

"It may be a cookie issue" or "see if it works then" is not satisfactory response. Please fix the issue. Thanks E-Junkie! You would seriously be a perfect service if not for this glitch!

The "remember login" function ONLY remembers your login if you come back to the site within a week of logging in, using the same machine, same browser and same IP.

What about people who roam around with laptops, thereby having a different IP all the time?

How about relaxing the rule about same IP?

Thanks E-junkie

We can't .. sorry .. we have to keep in mind issues like sniffing, session hijacking and other ways your E-junkie identity can be stolen ... so we have to sacrifice a little convenience for security.

If I were you, I won't even use the "remember login" setting. After all, it's not just your data at risk, if your account was to get hacked, all the buyers who have purchased your product will have their personal (we don't have/store financial data) data exposed to a malicious individual.

Just adding my request to the list. Have it remember the login ID, not the password, and remove the Keep me logged in checkbox since it's useless.

Same problem here: It's the only site I visit that won't allow autofill to work. I have a secure password that I cannot remember. I check EJ very rarely anymore because it's a pain to dig up my password, and if I leave it easilly accessible, why should I even have one? I'll add my name to the list for this feature request.
