My button code does not validate. How can make it XHTML compliant?

Our button code is compliant with the latest HTML 5 standard, but if you need it to validate as XHTML, you can do the following:

• Remove the target="..." part;
• Add alt="buy now" to the <img> tag;
• Replace & with &;
